Theatre Auditions:

ROHS Theatre Department is holding auditions for our fall mainstage production of Noises Off.  Auditions will be held on September 26th at 4:30 in the PAC.  Please pick up all audition information on the Theatre call board located just outside the black box theatre in the fine arts wing.  Contact Ms. Rigney with any questions.



Are you a member of a CTE program? Do you have at least a 3.0 GPA? Do you want scholarships? If this is you we want you to be a member of the National Technical/Honor Society.  We will have information meeting on Monday, September 25 at 7:50am and 4:15pm.  For any questions please contact Mrs. Weimar and Mrs. White.


Share Your Change Drive!:

This year the administrative staff has approved a class competition for the chance to have jeans/sweat pants every Tuesday and Thursday in OCTOBER.


Each day during LUNCH for the next two weeks there will be Halloween Plastic Pumpkins labeled for each class Freshman, Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors.


Please place your change in the bucket for the class that you want to WIN!


Winning class will be announced October 3, 2017.


ALL monies go to the ROISD Education Foundation to be awarded as grants to the students and staff of Red Oak ISD.

Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors! School testing day is October 11th: Please sign up for the ACT, ASPIRE, PSAT and ASVAB tests with Mrs. Garza in the counseling office. The cost of the PSAT is $15.00.  


Senior Class Shirts:

Hey, Seniors! Are you looking for your senior class shirt? Today is the last day to buy your senior shirt during all lunches. Bring cash or check to purchase them! You cannot reserve a senior shirt without purchasing one!!



Yearbooks and senior ads are now for sale. Yearbooks are $60 until September 24th. You can order online at balfour.com or pick up a form outside of room 210 or A101.



Learning Commons:

The Learning Commons is open every Tuesday and Thursday till 6:00pm. Must have ID, high school students only, and please dress appropriately.


Project Graduation:

Hey seniors! Do you know what project graduation is?  Project graduation is a committee of parent volunteers organized to plan senior activities. What kind of activities you ask? Activities will include a senior breakfast, Halloween Party, Blackout/Neon Party, Casino Night and Baccalaureate. How do you participate you ask? There is a $50 activity fee that will cover each event.  It will go up to $60 after September 15th. So seniors get a form from the office and get your fees in, so that the fun can begin!


Pokémon Club:

Calling all Pokémon trainers! Are you wanting to hone your Pokémon Card Game skills? Need specific cards to finish out that ultra-competitive deck? Want to learn how to play and do not know where to start? Come up to room 341 Wednesday after school to the Red Oak High School Pokémon the Card Game Club (ROHS-PTCGC). We talk, play, trade, and teach all things Pokémon. Club lasts till 5 and remember...no Magic, no D&D, no Yu-Gi-Oh, or other card games. Sorry...Pokémon The Card Game Club, It's Your Turn.
