Learning Commons Information

Library Policy:

Students must have their district issued ID to check out a book.

Students may check out up to 2 books at one time.  

Books are due back to the library two weeks after check out. Fines will be entered into SchoolCash for lost (checked out more than 1 month) or damaged books.

 

Independent Student Use

Students must wear their ID and have a handwritten note from their teacher to come to the library during instructional time.

If a class has scheduled the library, they will be prioritized for computer access and space.

 

Printing Policy:

The library has computers available for students to use. 

Students must have a pass from a teacher to use during class time.  

Students must adhere to the Red Oak ISD Acceptable Use Policy.  Printing is allowed for school projects only.  

Black and white copies are $0.10 a page and color copies are $0.25 a page.

 

Makerspace

The Red Oak High School Learning Commons Makerspace is available for all students to work on independent projects. Students may check out Makerspace materials for in-library use. For more information on our Makerspace, please contact your librarian.
